As a journalist Floor Bal learned how to translate and explain complex subjects for the general public. During the day she works as an editor education & science at the university magazine Advalvas. At night she writes a book. Or two.
They can be about small stories, such as finding out your own family history. Or very big stories: the origin of the universe, the earth and humanity. But the subject is always the past. That way her degree in history comes in handy.
For her journalistic work she has won to prices: the Gouden Woelmuis in 2017 and the Kring Award for the best news story of 2013.
